Second annual Swing Inn to be held April 20

The Parkview Huntington Family YMCA second annual Swing Inn dance party will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the YMCA. Just like back in the 50’s and 60’s, our April 20 event will be the place-to-be. The original Swing Inns were rated the “best ever” by all the smartest “cats” and coolest “chicks.” Those who attended in 2023 said the same thing. No dance experience is required for this “sock hop.”

The live band, The Moon Cats, one of Indiana’s premiere 50’s and 60’s bands will be featured again this year. Attendees will be treated to hors d’oeuvres and old-fashioned sodas during the 7 p.m. social hour.

This is a ticketed event with proceeds supporting the YMCA Annual Campaign which provides scholarships and financial assistance to allow Y programming to be available for all. Although dressing in an era outfit is not required, it is encouraged and door prizes will be given to the best-dressed winners.
