Boy Scout Troop #130 has been a pillar in the Huntington community for 30-plus years. Hopefully, you have seen them in action with their volunteer efforts. Annually, Troop #130 has over 500-man hours volunteering. They currently have 28 scouts registered in the troop.
They are asking for support from local individuals and businesses to enable them to host their 10th Annual Lost Canal & Haunted Trail that will take place at the Historic Forks of the Wabash during the month of October. The money received from sponsors will go to purchase advertising, new props, fuel, fog juice and more. The trail brings in many people from around Northeast Indiana along with guests from out of state.
Sponsors will benefit by being recognized in a variety of ways. Business organizations will receive recognition on the scouts’ social media sites, website and the sponsor banner prominently displayed by the ticket booth. They have had thousands of people visit the trail over the last few years and those attending will be able to see the generosity of local individuals and businesses through the event advertising and social media. To ensure your support is recognized, they ask each individual or business to provide them with a logo (Eagle, Star or First Class) by sending it to Troop #130 by email to huntingtonbsatroop130@gmail.com.
Eagle Sponsorship – $500 – Eagle sponsors will be published on all promotional material, press releases and event material. This sponsor will be prominently displayed on the sponsor thank you banner with a large color logo and will receive eight free entry tickets to the event.
Star Sponsor – $250 – Star sponsors will be recognized on event material with color logo on the sponsor thank you banner and will receive four entry tickets.
First Class Sponsor – $100 – First class sponsors will be recognized on event material with color logo on the sponsor thank you banner and will receive two entry tickets.
Scout – $50 – Scout support will be listed on event material and sponsor thank you banner as black and white text.
Please make checks out to Troop #130. Contact any Troop #130 leader or scout that presented a flyer to you. You can also contact with Scoutmaster Jeff Follis at (260) 437-8018, email jmf2300@yahoo.com for pickup of sponsorship funds. Boy Scout Troop #130 truly appreciates your support.
