Pathfinder is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in its transition out of the Pathfinder Arts and Entrepreneurial Center. The organization has entered a strategic partnership with the LaFontaine Arts Council (LAC) to take over art center programming, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the beloved community initiative.

As part of the partnership, the LaFontaine Arts Council will leverage its expertise and resources to assume all responsibility for the day-to-day operations and programming of the Art Center. This collaboration represents a shared commitment between Pathfinder and the LAC to ensure the continued success and impact of the Art Center within the community.

“We are delighted to embark on this partnership with the LaFontaine Arts Council,” said Danielle Tips, president and CEO of Pathfinder. “Their dedication to the arts and their deep roots within the community make them the ideal candidates to lead the Art Center into its next phase of growth and development.”

The transition of art center programming to the Lafontaine Arts Council represents a significant step towards Pathfinder’s complete exit from the program. By entrusting the LAC with the future management of the Art Center, Pathfinder is confident that the program will continue to thrive and serve as a vital hub for creativity, learning and cultural enrichment in the community.

“We are thrilled to begin cultivating the program and progress set into motion by Pathfinder,” said Ann Richard, president of the LaFontaine Arts Council. “This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity to expand our impact and further our mission of promoting the arts in our community.”

The LaFontaine Arts Council is set to take over programming on May 20. Pathfinder and the LaFontaine Arts Council are committed to exhausting every effort to ensure the future of the Art Center for the community of Huntington. More updates on this partnership and its implementation will be provided to the community as progress is made.
