Affine Hospitality – the team behind Affine Food Truck and GK Baked Goods brings craft beer and creative food to the west end of Main Street, Fort Wayne. Located in the old Korte Paper Company warehouse, Junk Ditch Brewing Company delivers a casual, but refined experience using ingredients from the backyard and farther. With an “everything from scratch” philosophy and a passion for hospitality, Andrew Smith, Grace Kelly May, and Dan Campbell invite you to experience Junk Ditch Brewing Company and the Junk Ditch Huntington Tap Room in Huntington.
This week’s business spotlight shines brightly on Junk Ditch Huntington Tap Room. The restaurant is located at 426 Warren Street, and is owned by Andrew Smith, Dan Campbell and Grace Kelly May. They also own a Junk Ditch Brewing Company restaurant in Fort Wayne.
The beginning of Junk Ditch Brewing Company started when the owners opened their Affine Food Truck in Fort Wayne in 2012. The owners then opened GK Baked Foods in 2015 where this company bakes all their artisan breads, pastries, cinnamon rolls, pretzels and more. After seeing much success with their food truck the owners decided to open a restaurant in Fort Wayne in 2016, following with their second restaurant opening in Huntington in October of 2022.
Junk Ditch Huntington Tap Room brews and serves their own beer on tap or in cans and for carry-out. They also offer craft cocktails and bourbon tasting where they have a wide variety of bourbons. The restaurant also makes their own lemonade and root beer.
According to sales and marketing manager, Katie Jo, “We are excited about our brunches and brunch specials. We just want to see people come into the restaurant, share in an elevated dish of great food, served in a fun environment.”
