Ivy Tech of Fort Wayne has a great opportunity for Huntington County residents or anyone working in Huntington County. The school is offering a way to skill up employees with their Equipment Maintenance classes. Classes will last only nine weeks and best of all, there is funding available.

This is an opportunity for employers and their employees will not want to miss. Funding is available to Huntington residents as well as anyone who works in Huntington County. Click this link to view the class and this link will get you to the application for funding from the Community Foundation of Huntington County.

Classes run from January 13 through March 12, 2025 from 1 to 5 p.m. Class days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Employees will earn a MSSC Certification in Equipment Maintenance, Certification in Equipment Repair and Certification in Network Repair.

To get started students must create an account at www.huntingtonccf.org/slm. A code is then put in a code for the application to come up. The code is: Learner. Please only share that with those who have been accepted into the class. The application is called “Ignite Your Future.” Students must either live and/or work in Huntington County to be applicable.
