The Community Foundation of Huntington County is pleased to announce that the application for Hometown Grants is now open. Hometown Grants serve to support projects, initiatives and community events within Warren, Markle and Andrews.

“Hometown Grants offer countless benefits such as fostering quality of place and community pride, improving public spaces, preserving cultural and historical landmarks and supporting education and youth programs,” said Community Foundation Program Manager, Amber Rensberger. “You know your community best, and we want to help bring your vision to life. Together we can build a stronger, more vibrant Huntington County.”

Each program is overseen by a committee of local community leaders responsible for evaluating applications. The application is open to all organizations or projects that will benefit the respective hometown and its residents.

Previous projects include park and trail upgrades, Salamonie Little Rebel Store launch, support for hometown Boys and Girls Clubs, funding for Historic Warren Main Street, downtown beautification efforts and more.

Those interested in the Hometown Grants are invited to apply at huntingtonccf.org/grants. Grant applications must be submitted by April 10 for consideration.
