Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne is opening the application process for its homeownership program in Huntington County. Families living or working in Huntington County can apply starting Monday, April 7 through Sunday, April 28, 2025.
Interested applicants must first complete a pre-qualification form on Habitat’s website at habitatgfw.com/apply. Those who prequalify will be notified via email to continue with a full application packet.
Eligibility Requirements: Must currently live or work in Huntington County for at least 12 months as of April 7, 2025. Must not be a current homeowner or have owned a home in the past two years. Must have a minimum annual income of $30,000.
Join Habitat for an in-person event to learn more about Habitat’s Homeownership Program and start your application process on Monday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Central Christian Church, 500 McGahan Street, Huntington.
At this event, you can: Learn more about Habitat’s affordable homeownership program. Meet Habitat staff and ask questions and begin your pre-qualification application on-site.
Applicants without internet access or needing assistance with the pre-qualification form can call Habitat’s Homeowner Services Team at (260) 422-4828 ext. 303 or visit the Habitat office at 2020 E. Washington Blvd, Suite 800, Fort Wayne.
