HNHS to host Midwest Showcase Invitational

Huntington North High School is proud to present the highly anticipated 2025 Midwest Showcase Choral Invitational on March 1, bringing together the region’s most talented show choirs for a thrilling competition. The event will feature 15 high schools vying for the prestigious Grand Champion trophy, showcasing their exceptional vocal and performance abilities in front of an enthusiastic audience and expert judges.
The festivities begin on Friday, February 28, with a special Middle School Invitational, where six middle schools will take the stage to demonstrate their musical prowess and gain valuable competition experience. This exciting precursor to Saturday’s main event will highlight the rising stars of the show choir world.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $10 per person (adults, kids and seniors) R.C. Singers will perform in exhibition at 9:30 p.m. Enter through Door 28.
“We are excited to welcome these incredibly talented performers to Huntington North High School,” said Aaron Childress. “The Midwest Showcase has a long tradition of celebrating excellence in choral performance, and this year promises to be one of our best yet. We encourage the community to come out and support these dedicated students as they bring their hard work and passion to the stage.”
The Midwest Showcase is known for its electric atmosphere, dazzling performances and a commitment to fostering a love for choral music. Competitions will take place throughout the day, culminating in a final awards ceremony where the top performers will be recognized for their outstanding artistry.
On Saturday, March 1, Door 28 opens at 8 a.m. Tickets are $15 for the day session (8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), and $10 for the evening Finals (7 p.m. to midnight). A combo ticket can be purchased before 6:30 p.m. for both sessions for $20.
