Heritage Pointe Communities receive five-stars

Heritage Pointe of Ft. Wayne, Heritage Pointe of Warren, and Heritage Pointe of Huntington senior living communities have each received the prestigious five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Only the top nursing homes achieve this honor.

CMS’s Five-Star Quality Rating System was developed in 2008 to help compare healthcare centers. A key performance indicator, the system evaluates nursing homes based on three dimensions: health inspections derived from on-site inspections, staffing based on the ratio of licensed staff to residents, and quality measures for how the community is caring for physical and clinical needs.

Earning a five-star rating from CMS is a prestigious achievement, reflecting a nursing home’s dedication to superior resident care and high standards.
