The Parkview Huntington Family YMCA will hold the Halloween Hustle 5K on Saturday, October 29, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Costumes are encouraged for this Halloween-themed race. Participants will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt, and awards will be given for the fastest male and female in each age group. Awards will also be given for the best costumes.
The race will start and finish at the YMCA. This stroller-friendly course is fun for the whole family and includes pavement and paved trails traversing through the beautiful Huntington University campus and returns to the Y via the HARTA Gragg Street trail (which runs parallel to Stults Road).
Participants must be registered by October 13 to secure a t-shirt. To sign up with a reduced fee, early bird registration is currently open through October 1 with regular registration running from October 2 through race day.
Call (260) 359-9622 or go online to www.huntingtony.org to complete your registration. Interested racers may view the course at www.huntingtony.org/news.
