Genesis Pest Services to the rescue …

Now that we are in the full swing of warmer weather, it’s time for those pesky little annoyances to come out. What we are speaking of are the ants, spiders, roaches, ticks, mosquitos and more. Horner, a Huntington University graduate, said, “I started Genesis Pest Services on March 21, 2019 with the goal of working in a field that I have enjoyed since middle school, and because I have a desire to help people. I saw people paying for services they really did not need.”

“Previously I was a youth pastor and felt called to pest control as a vocation from God. I’ve learned from working for four years at a large pest control corporation, and now five years on my own, that I can handle about any situation that comes my way. If I am not able to do the work, I know people that can,” explained Horner.

Horner said, “I have always loved bugs and as a middle schooler, I entered contests at the state level where I competed in entomology competitions where students were challenged to name bugs and share information about them. I finished fifth in the state one year while our team finished second. We were always in the top ten,” stated Horner.

“Genesis Pest Services can help alleviate the pests in your home to include ants, beetles, roaches, spiders, bed bugs and more. I can now spray for ticks and mosquitos,” according to Horner. Horner went on to say, “Since I have been studying bugs for most of my life, I know what to look for when entering homes or businesses. I can diagnose termite infestation, but will typically turn this treatment over to another expert I know in the field.”

Horner said, “I am also licensed to go after mice, rats and selective birds. Some birds are protected, so no one is allowed to go after them. My business is bonded and insured.”

“As an exterminator, I pride myself as a local resident that is credible and trustworthy. You will find that I am timely, and if I am going to be late, clients can expect a phone call from me,” said Horner.

Horner explained, “I do not have contracts with my clients because I want them to have the flexibility to do what is right for them.” With that said, “I do offer agreements where I can service their homes or businesses monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or in about any increment the client needs. I will not leave until the job is done correctly.”

“I do residential and commercial properties to include warehouses, churches and not-for-profit locations. I’ve recently picked up warehouses because of the infiltration of roaches. They seem to be prevalent in the warehouse setting. I am also fluent in Spanish for those businesses that need someone to communication with the Spanish population,” said Horner.
