First Federal announce staff promotions

First Federal Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of eight employees.

Peter Confer, top row, left, has been promoted to vice president, controller. Confer had been with First Federal Savings Bank in the accounting department for three years and has 40 plus years in the banking industry. He is a graduate of Huntington College and has received his post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting. Along with being a Certified Public Accountant.

Julia Bazur, top row, second, has been promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager. Bazur has been with First Federal Savings Bank for seven years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Emily Doss, top row, third, has been promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager. Emily has been with First Federal Savings Bank for two years and has 21 years of experience in the banking industry. She is a Huntington University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Donnie Haire, top row, right, has been promoted to vice president, retail/mortgage lending. Haire started his career with First Federal Savings Bank in 2012 and brings 25 years of experience in the banking industry. He graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology.

Tracy Hamilton, bottom row, left, has been promoted to vice president, human resources. Hamilton has been with First Federal Savings Bank for two years and brings 30 plus years in human resources. She graduated from Ball State with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources and received an MBA from Indiana University.

Amanda Stroup, bottom row, second, has been promoted to vice president, marketing director/mortgage lending. Stroup has been with First Federal Savings Bank since 2013. She is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Foreign Language and minor in Business.

Carla Williams, bottom row, third, has been promoted to vice president, mortgage lending. Williams has been with First Federal Savings Bank for ten years. She has been in the banking industry for 24 years and has 20 years of mortgage lending experience. Carla has her Associates Degree in Business Management.

Kimberly Fischer, bottom row, right, has been promoted to vice president, mortgage underwriter. She has been with First Federal Savings Bank for 21 years. Fischer graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Communication.
