Family providers relocate to hospital campus

The Parkview Physicians Group (PPG) – Family Medicine team formerly located at 2708 Guilford Street next to the Parkview Walk-In Clinic has moved.

Rowena Yu-Mendador, MD; Lindsey Ribel, FNP-C, and their office support team are now seeing patients at the PPG – Family Medicine office in the John B. Kay Medical Office Building adjacent to Parkview Huntington Hospital. Their new address is 2003 Stults Road, Suite 100, Huntington.

Dr. Yu-Mendador and Ribel join providers Shannon Brisbin, PA; Alesha Collins, NP; Kathleen Leckrone, NP; Kari Rischling, NP; Todd Duerfeldt, DO; and Julie Utendorf, MD, in the practice.

Dr. Yu-Mendador has been serving the varied needs of Huntington County patients of all ages at the Guilford Street PPG – Family Medicine office since 2010. She has special interests in working with seniors and with patients who are facing the challenges of diabetes, hypertension, or fertility issues.

Ribel worked in nursing at Parkview Regional Medical Center, including the coronary intensive care unit, before she joined Dr. Yu’s team in 2019 after completing her certification as a family nurse practitioner. She performs outpatient procedures, provides education, and enjoys developing comprehensive treatment plans while building trusting relationships with her patients.

Both Ribel and Yu-Mendador are taking new patients. To schedule an appointment, call the PPG – Family Medicine office at (260) 356-5424. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with some extended hour options.

In accordance with Parkview policy, masks are required during patient appointments.
