City of Fort Wayne invites Huntington businesses to participate in HUB 260

The mayor’s office of the City of Fort Wayne would like to invite Huntington businesses to join with Fort Wayne in the celebration of (260) DAY/WEEKEND 2022.

HUB260 (HUB260.com) is overseeing the initiative to designate Saturday, February 6 (2.6 YEAR) as (260) DAY. It is an annual day of camaraderie for all businesses to come together under the fact that the (260) is the place we, collectively, call home.

Although (260) DAY typically takes place on 2.6 YEAR, because 2.6.22 is a Sunday, (260) DAY has been expanded to a weekend of celebration (2.5.22 and 2.6.22). This localized effort is designed for all communities within the (260) zip code to get its businesses, restaurants, retailers, entrepreneurs, independent business owners and nonprofit/organizations involved by creating and offering 2-6-0-themed special discount, deal or promotion.

HUB260 will assist all (260) communities with the curation, aggregation and promotion of its (260) DAY special deals and festivities in its special (260) DAY/WEEKEND 2022 issue to be published on 2.2.22. This special issue of HUB260 will also include feature articles about each of the communities participating in (260) DAY/WEEKEND and what specifically makes them special spots to live, work and play within the (260) region.

Participation by all businesses and interested parties in (260) DAY/WEEKEND 2022 is free and special deals, discounts and promotions may be submitted by using the information materials attached or encouraging participants to visit HUB260.com for additional information. All special deals/discounts/promotions will be listed in the (260) DAY SPECIALS section in HUB260 and on its website.

HUB260 will serve as the clearinghouse for everything (260) DAY/WEEKEND. It will compile all the deals/discounts/promotions; work with your community to promote and encourage participation in (260) DAY/WEEKEND 2022; provide copies of the special (260) DAY/WEEKEND issue of HUB260 that hits the street on 2.2.22; will coordinate with producing the editorial feature about your community; and provide you with any additional marketing, promotions and public relations assistance and materials that you may need.
