The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at The Fiber Alchemist on Saturday, November 27. The event took place just prior to Christmas in the City and helped kick off the Christmas in the City event.
The new retail store is owned by the mother and daughter team of Christine Skinner and her daughter, Alysha Storie.
The store offers a variety of fabric, quilting supplies, yarn, cross-stitch materials and many other things The Fiber Alchemist has to offer.
The Fiber Alchemist is located at 442 N. Jefferson Street. Store hours are Tuesday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed Sunday and Monday.
