Bingo for the Arts to be held April 9

The LaFontaine Arts Council (LAC) is holding their first Bingo for the Arts fundraiser on April 9 at the Huntington PAL Event Center, located at 2099 Riverside Drive. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with bingo games beginning at 7 p.m.

There will be 15 rounds of bingo with prizes that include unique works of art in various mediums, special experiences and cash prizes. There will also be raffles running throughout the evening. Wine and beer along with other beverages and snacks will be available for sale during the event. You must be 21 years old to participate.

Tickets are available for presale online at lafontaine-arts-council-inc.square.site/ at a discounted price of $35 per person and includes one game pack. Tickets will be $40 at the door. Table sponsorships are also available for presale at $300 and includes ten tickets.

All proceeds from Bingo for the Arts will go directly back into arts in education and community arts programming.

The LaFontaine Arts Council has been providing Arts in Education programming to the Huntington County Schools for over 30 years. Currently the council is funding programs including the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Young Artist Awards, along with Grant and Scholarship programs. The LAC board of directors meets every fourth Tuesday at 6 p.m. and board meetings are open to the public. For more information, reach out to lafontaineartscouncil@gmail.com .
