Adults to race Pinewood Derby cars March 16

Do you remember the fun it was as a Cub Scout to build and race your very own Pinewood Derby car? Now, you can experience the fun as an adult with less rules in place, so you can get more creative with your car.

Race against like businesses to yours for bragging rights! Create the fastest car and win overall to claim an award in first, second or third place.

The fun takes place Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Punch Films located at 6th Street, Fort Wayne. Registration is open now here. Register your car at 5 p.m. A team of five receives a table for five. Dinner from Lucille’s BBQ, two drink tickets, the Pinewood Derby car kit and official Derby After Hours rules. The event is limited to 32 teams, so get your registration in soon! This is 21 years of age and older event.

The funds raised from this event will go towards helping the programs; Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, and Explorers in each county of Anthony Wayne Area Council’s 11 counties in Northeast Indiana. These are run by adult mentors who spend many hours a week developing our youth to become leaders of tomorrow with character and confidence.
